Senior Area Facilities Manager

About the role

Fora is looking for a Senior Area Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of high‑quality facilities services across its portfolio of workspaces. You will work closely with the Technical Services Lead to drive operational excellence, manage contracts, and champion sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across the estate and ensure SLA adherence for reactive works.
• Support and manage all technical services contracts, both planned and reactive.
• Build strong relationships with external contractors and act as the primary liaison between building teams, contractors, and central technical services.
• Lead, mentor and develop Area Facilities Managers, providing guidance to maintain consistent service delivery.
• Own capital projects from planning through delivery, maintaining the capital tracker and ensuring budgets and timelines are met.
• Conduct audits, surveys and quality assurance activities to uphold compliance and health & safety standards.
• Lead energy and sustainability initiatives, develop and execute Fora’s energy management plan, and identify opportunities to reduce consumption, cost and carbon impact.
• Support enterprise locations with communication, issue resolution and management of smaller service contracts such as lifts and life‑safety systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management within a multi‑site environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage capital projects and budgets.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance processes.
• Passion for sustainability and energy efficiency.
