Senior BI Analyst – Power BI & SQL – Watford

About the role

We are partnering with a major global off‑price retailer to build a dedicated analytics capability within its finance function. As a Senior BI Analyst you will join a new team in Watford, helping to improve reporting, insight and data‑driven decision‑making across the commercial side of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for finance and commercial stakeholders.
• Collate, clean and analyse data to support business decisions.
• Work with data models to enhance reporting quality and usability.
• Engage with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal data‑warehouse teams to access and structure data.
• Contribute to the establishment of a formalised analytics function.

Required profile

• Strong experience building Power BI reports and dashboards for business users.
• Expert-level SQL knowledge.
• Good understanding of data modelling concepts.
• Proven ability to work with finance, commercial or sales data.
• Experience in a large, multi‑national business environment is preferred.
