Senior Buyer

About the role

As a Senior Buyer you will lead the sourcing and negotiation of suppliers on both national and international levels, supporting a range of construction projects. You will also manage contractual documentation and procurement for sub‑contracts, ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust supply chain relationships.
• Participate in pre‑construction design meetings, product selection and supply chain development.
• Conduct pre‑start meetings with supply chain partners and internal teams.
• Negotiate pre‑contract terms with subcontractors, collaborating with construction, commercial and other stakeholders.
• Set up supply chains for subcontract packages and process requisitions efficiently after contract award.
• Prepare and deliver contracts to sub‑contractors.
• Lead tendering, negotiation and placement of sub‑contract and material orders.
• Compile tender lists, manage tendering requirements and perform analytical comparisons.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Full driving licence.
• Proven experience in a similar procurement role within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting, order processing and estimating software.
