Senior Cisco Catalyst SD‑WAN Engineer (Remote, 24/7 Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cisco Catalyst SD‑WAN Engineer to join our dedicated MES team on a 3‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is remote‑first, operating on a 24/7 rotational shift and may require occasional travel to the client’s office.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for Cisco Catalyst SD‑WAN within the MES team.
• Provide consultative input for simple to complex WAN/LAN changes, routing and design decisions, and conduct risk assessments.
• Contribute to governance forums, ensure configuration hygiene, detect and remediate drift, and manage template governance in vManage.
• Support CAB processes with senior‑level technical narratives and risk statements.
• Design and maintain custom dashboards in Cisco vManage aligned to operational and governance needs.
• Maintain end‑to‑end visibility across WAN, LAN, and Wi‑Fi domains and support 3rd‑line engineers on complex routing and security scenarios.
• Engage directly with customer technical and governance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience designing, operating and governing Cisco Catalyst SD‑WAN solutions.
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, VRF‑based segmentation, AAR and QoS design.
• Experience with security services such as firewalls, IDS/IPS and URL filtering.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco vManage dashboards, APIs and configuration management.
• Proven ability to act as a technical authority and mentor 3rd‑line engineers.
• Experience in regulated or critical national infrastructure environments is desirable.
