Senior Cloud Developer

About the role

Framestore’s award‑winning Technology team is looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to shape its cloud‑first and machine‑learning strategy. You will design and build high‑availability automation, resilient big‑data pipelines and secure cloud services that power creative projects across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop highly available automation workflows and orchestrators for distributed builds, cross‑platform compute scaling and AI model deployment.
• Design event‑driven, self‑healing cloud systems that detect and remediate infrastructure anomalies.
• Architect robust cloud security frameworks, identity management and automated governance across a global footprint.
• Build and optimise big‑data infrastructure for large metadata and media assets while identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Provide cloud and systems support to engineering teams and champion DevSecOps best practices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience designing high‑availability, multi‑environment cloud infrastructure using IaC (e.g., Terraform).
• Proven track record with cloud‑based data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Strong software background, preferably in Python, with experience building scalable services and APIs.
• Ability to build, scale and secure distributed automation pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).
• Experience supporting engineering teams, promoting DevSecOps and collaborating with technical leadership.
