Software Engineering Manager (Test & DevOps)

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of DevOps and test engineers, set priorities, conduct performance reviews and uphold high engineering standards.
• Own the CI/CD strategy and build‑release infrastructure across the software stack, including multi‑device test fleets and artifact management.
• Maintain the Yocto‑based embedded Linux platform, signed update mechanisms, rollback, and image integrity.
• Define and drive software V&V and test‑automation strategy, building continuous validation infrastructure.
• Establish compliance‑as‑code workflows mapping verification evidence to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971, automating regulatory evidence generation.
• Coordinate cybersecurity workstreams with IT and QARA teams and support cloud‑side data pipelines and MLOps workflows.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive experience in software, DevOps or test engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering management role.
• Proven track record leading DevOps, test or platform teams in a regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience delivering in compliance with IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.

Required skills

• Advanced Python and C/C++ programming.
• CI/CD pipelines, build systems and test automation for embedded and cloud environments.
• Yocto‑based embedded Linux build and deployment.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CDK) and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Observability tooling such as Grafana and Prometheus.
