Senior Commercial Account Handler / Broker

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler / Broker to join a leading independent insurance brokerage in London. You will deliver a high‑level personal service to commercial clients and insurers, managing the full lifecycle of policies from inception through renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts with net premiums up to £50,000+
• Lead the renewal process end‑to‑end, either independently or alongside an Account Executive
• Prepare and present new‑business proposals to underwriters
• Use Acturis daily for policy administration and documentation
• Develop and deliver market presentations for products such as Property Owners, Cyber, Marine Liability, Commercial Combined and Fleet

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Account Handler, Broker or a similar commercial insurance role
• Strong knowledge of commercial cover requirements and the ability to work autonomously
• Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running and manage a personal portfolio from day one
