Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead end‑to‑end data engineering delivery on modern cloud platforms. The role is fully remote within the UK and offers the chance to work on greenfield projects from design through to deployment and optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design data solutions based on source systems.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines.
• Develop transformations and data models.
• Orchestrate workflows and deploy environments.
• Manage ongoing optimisation and performance improvements.
• Engage directly with stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication throughout delivery.

Required profile

• Advanced Python and SQL development experience.
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end data engineering projects.
• Ability to build scalable cloud‑based data solutions.
• Self‑motivated, taking ownership of delivery with minimal supervision.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
