Senior Director – Asset Based Lending (ABL) Roles (UK-wide)

About the role

We are partnering with high‑growth, well‑capitalised lending platforms across the UK to recruit senior Director‑level professionals in Asset Based Lending (ABL). The positions are UK‑wide, offering full flexibility to work from any location while playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing ABL strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive high‑value ABL origination and structuring of complex, asset‑backed transactions.
• Build and maintain strong introducer and industry networks to generate deal flow.
• Lead relationship management with corporate clients, credit, and underwriting teams.
• Deliver tailored lending solutions across invoice finance, real‑estate finance and other specialist lending products.
• Provide strategic influence and autonomy in developing high‑performing origination functions.

Required profile

• Director‑level experience in Asset Based Lending or specialist commercial finance.
• Extensive network of introducers and industry contacts within the ABL space.
• Proven ability to structure and close complex asset‑backed deals ranging from £200k to £70m.
• Track record of originating and funding 5–15+ transactions annually.
• Commercial mindset, self‑starting attitude and comfort operating autonomously.
