Senior Event Planner – Global Events & Marketing

About the role

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is looking for an energetic Senior Event Planner to join its event marketing team. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of both digital and in‑person events across the US and EMEA regions, ensuring compelling content and flawless execution for internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute logistical and operational aspects of in‑person and virtual events in EMEA.
• Promote the ICE brand across Fixed Income, Data Services and Exchange business lines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and run webinars company‑wide.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, hotels, caterers, AV vendors and manage procurement processes.
• Oversee hospitality elements such as ticket distribution, merchandise selection, guest invitations and onsite support.
• Work with Growth Marketing, Social, Brand and Content teams to repurpose event material.
• Maintain event marketing budgets, track expenses and ensure value maximisation.
• Stay informed on financial‑market trends to develop relevant event content.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale events and webinars.
• Strong track record liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including C‑level executives.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high‑demand environment.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week with occasional weekend travel.
