Senior Expansion Manager UK

About the role

Fastned is looking for a Senior Expansion Manager to lead the growth of its UK fast‑charging network. Reporting to the UK Expansion Lead, you will shape and execute the site acquisition strategy, securing prime locations that support the company’s goal of a Europe‑wide network of 1,000 stations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refine the UK network development strategy, including target geographies, site typologies and partnership models.
• Identify, structure, negotiate and close new EV‑charging site deals with commercial landlords, roadside operators, developers and local authorities.
• Lead high‑value leasehold, freehold and licence negotiations, ensuring commercial robustness and alignment with financial targets.
• Own a portfolio of contracted and pipeline sites, managing timelines, commercial terms and internal reporting.
• Collaborate with design, planning, construction, legal and operations teams to transition agreements into operational stations.
• Continuously improve processes, tools and market intelligence to focus on the highest‑value opportunities.
• Monitor policy developments and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in site acquisition, real‑estate or network development.
• Strong sense of ownership, professional maturity and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent commercial acumen with a track record of closing complex, high‑value transactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet strict timelines and produce accurate reports.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration skills.
