Senior Global Mobility Officer

About the role
The University College Birmingham is seeking an experienced international higher‑education professional to lead its Global Mobility and Global Experience programmes. This senior position will shape outbound and inbound mobility schemes, manage key funding streams and support the university’s strategic international agenda.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, administration and delivery of outbound Global Mobility schemes.
- Oversee inbound Global Experience programmes for international students.
- Manage Turing Scheme funding and prepare for the upcoming Erasmus+ scheme.
- Develop and expand the university’s global mobility portfolio in line with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with academic and support departments to ensure seamless programme implementation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in international higher‑education mobility or a similar senior role.
- Strong understanding of UK funding schemes such as the Turing Scheme and Erasmus+.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding principles and the PREVENT agenda.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Turing Scheme and Erasmus+ funding mechanisms.
