Senior GNC Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer at Applied Intuition, you will lead the development of autonomous flight capabilities for a range of unmanned aerial systems, from agile quadrotors to long‑range fixed‑wing platforms. You will work at the intersection of software, aerospace, and defense, delivering reusable GNC solutions that power multiple programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and rigorously test core flight autonomy algorithms for various UAV platforms.
• Write production‑grade software that operates real autonomous aircraft and high‑fidelity simulated models.
• Develop and enhance aerial autonomy software architectures that are deployed in operational missions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to adapt GNC solutions to unique program requirements.
• Contribute reusable capabilities to the company’s core software stack.

Required profile

• Proven experience in guidance, navigation, and control engineering for aerial systems.
• Background in defense or aerospace projects involving unmanned aircraft.
• Strong software development skills applied to real‑time autonomous systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
