Senior International Tax Manager – Front Office Advisory

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior International Tax Manager to join a leading bank's Tax function in London. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will provide strategic, commercially‑focused tax advice to the Global Markets, Commodities and Investment Banking divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality tax advisory on new products, transactions and business initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate direct tax compliance, financial and reputational risks.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Legal, Compliance, Operations, HR and Finance to embed tax considerations.
• Provide tax input into legal documentation such as ISDAs, GMSLAs and loan agreements.
• Develop, review and implement transfer pricing policies and documentation across the bank.
• Work with external tax advisers, auditors and tax authorities, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk appetite.

Required profile

• Senior‑level tax professional with extensive experience in international tax within a banking environment.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing complex tax risk, compliance and governance matters.
