Senior Management Accountant – PE‑backed SaaS

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Series A SaaS business in the City of London as a Senior Management Accountant. You will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate month‑end accounts, supporting statutory audits and providing insightful commentary on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end processing and produce core management accounts.
• Support statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax, VAT and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify trends, risks and anomalies, explaining drivers clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Investigate root causes of issues and drive end‑to‑end resolution.
• Prepare commentary on budget versus forecast and maintain strong financial controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Leverage Excel, Power Query, BI tools and AI to automate manual processes and improve scalability.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA professional.
• Proven month‑end and management reporting experience.
• Exposure to VAT and tax compliance.
• Motivation to work in a high‑growth SaaS environment.
