Senior Mobile Engineer (Kotlin Android)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join a fast‑growing media organisation in London. You will work closely with product owners, engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality Android applications that meet both business and user expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise new and existing features for Android mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of robust solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, applying best‑practice architecture patterns and SOLID principles.
• Mentor junior engineers, promoting high coding standards and best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and UI automation tests (Espresso) to guarantee code quality.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture patterns and SOLID design principles.
• Proven ability to write unit tests with JUnit and Mockito and UI tests with Espresso.
• Experience working in agile, cross‑functional environments.
