About the role
Our client, a global corporate organisation undergoing a major business and technology transformation, is seeking a Senior PMO Contractor. The role will support the delivery of a complex portfolio of strategic programmes across multiple regions and functions, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide governance, portfolio management and delivery assurance for multi‑million‑pound programmes.
- Produce and maintain central reporting, financial tracking and planning artefacts.
- Coordinate with globally dispersed teams and senior stakeholders to drive programme progress.
- Manage risk, issues and dependencies across the portfolio.
- Support the transition to hybrid delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Required profile
- Extensive experience as a Senior PMO, Lead PMO or Programme Office Lead in large‑scale corporate environments.
- Proven track record delivering complex transformation, technology or digital change programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior executives.
- Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, P3O) are desirable.

What we offer
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
- Day rate of £400‑£500 (inside IR35).
