Senior Product Manager

About the role

Matillion is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a key slice of its Maia AI Data Automation platform. You will work at the intersection of complex user problems, cutting‑edge AI capabilities, and commercial impact, shaping the product experience for data engineers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for your area, prioritising ruthlessly and communicating the why to engineering teams.
• Set, track and act on leading indicators of product success, building dashboards and using data to iterate quickly.
• Establish the quality bar for AI‑driven features, running evaluations and ensuring agentic workflows meet high user‑experience standards.
• Deeply understand the data‑engineer journey, uncovering friction points and unmet needs beyond surface feature requests.
• Leverage AI tools in your own workflow to accelerate research, synthesis and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong user‑obsession combined with data‑driven decision making.
• Proven experience scaling products in both large organisations and fast‑moving startups.
• Ability to think both broadly and deeply, balancing strategic vision with detailed execution.
• Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working in a hybrid environment (two days onsite in Manchester).
