Senior Project Manager – Major Projects

About the role

United Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead the delivery of a two‑stage EPC project at the Wormington Compressor Station in Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Project Director, the SPM will be accountable for safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery while meeting client expectations and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the project programme to meet safety, time, cost, quality and client satisfaction targets.
• Coordinate on‑site operations using direct labour and subcontracted workforce in line with contract requirements.
• Maintain constructive relationships with the client, stakeholders and supply‑chain partners.
• Provide senior project management within the Project Leadership Team, collaborating with technical, commercial, SHEQ and planning leads.
• Manage project operational and technical personnel, ensuring integrated delivery.
• Travel to UI head office, Kent design office and National Gas offices as required.

Required profile

• Proven senior project management experience on large EPC or gas‑infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environment and quality (SHEQ) standards, including CDM regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
