Senior Project Manager - Pensions Transformation

About the role

You will lead the delivery of a new defined benefit pension proposition, taking it from design through to operational launch. The role sits at the heart of a high‑profile transformation programme, coordinating operational readiness, technology integration and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end operational readiness and implementation programme for the new pension proposition.
• Drive the implementation and integration of a leading pensions administration technology platform.
• Coordinate multiple inter‑dependent workstreams across pensions administration, technology, risk, legal, finance and commercial teams.
• Maintain delivery momentum, managing risks, dependencies and budgets to meet strategic, regulatory and timeline objectives.
• Engage senior stakeholders, third‑party suppliers and implementation partners to influence decisions and secure commitment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex change programmes within pensions environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale pensions administration technology implementations and data migrations.
• Strong track record of overseeing multiple workstreams, dependencies and risk registers.
• Confident communicator who can influence senior and executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM or MSP.
