Senior Project Manager – Pharma/Life Sciences

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of mission‑critical R&D applications within a highly regulated pharma and life‑sciences environment. You will act as the key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards while driving continuous innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery and ongoing enhancement of regulated R&D applications in a live production environment.
• Manage complex technical landscapes, including infrastructure, databases, and system integrations.
• Drive end‑to‑end compliance activities such as validation documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to CSV/GxP standards.
• Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing competing priorities and resource constraints.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and schedule pressures with mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Utilise Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, release tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure robust lifecycle governance, covering change control, validation, release management, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including business owners, IT teams, vendors, and operations.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing IT projects in regulated pharma or life‑sciences R&D environments.
• Strong understanding of GxP/CSV compliance and validation processes.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams under tight delivery timelines.
• Excellent risk‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
