Senior Pump Engineer – London

About the role

An established M&E services provider is seeking an experienced Senior Pump Engineer to service, fault‑find and maintain a variety of pump systems across commercial plant rooms in London and Greater London.

Key responsibilities

• Service, fault‑find and maintain a variety of pump systems within commercial plant rooms
• Attend client sites across London and Greater London
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard
• Work as part of a team on larger projects while also operating independently on smaller works
• Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions
• Maintain excellent standards of health & safety, workmanship and customer service
• Develop strong working relationships with clients and site teams
• Assist with the training, development and mentoring of apprentices

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Pump Engineer or Field Pump Engineer
• Strong knowledge of pump systems and associated plant‑room equipment
• Background working within commercial buildings, plant rooms or M&E environments
• Good fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Understanding of engineering standards and safe working practices
• Excellent attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship
• Good communication and customer‑facing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
