Senior Service Manager - Mental Health (NMHT)

About the Role

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Service Manager for our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in East Brighton, playing a pivotal role in delivering essential community mental health services to adults and older adults.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient, safe, and effective operation of the East Brighton NMHT.
• Provide strategic leadership and support to operational and clinical managers within a dynamic senior management team.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery while meeting performance targets and maintaining financial balance.
• Drive quality improvement and transformation projects to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide exemplary leadership and line management to Team Leaders and Clinical Leads, fostering their professional development and confidence.
• Collaborate closely with other Service Managers and the General Manager for Community Mental Health Services.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in service management, ideally within a healthcare or complex operational setting.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and develop senior staff.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Highly organized with a strong focus on performance and quality standards.
