Senior Vice President, Private Banking (UK)

About the role

QNB is creating a senior leadership position in its UK Private Banking division. Reporting directly to the Country CEO, the Senior Vice President will lead the relationship management for High Net‑Worth clients across Qatar, the GCC and other key QNB markets, acting as a one‑stop solution for private banking and a gateway to corporate banking opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with High Net‑Worth individuals and family offices, primarily from Qatar, GCC, Egypt and Turkey.
• Drive business development in line with the global Private Banking strategy, coordinating with QNB Group offices to create value propositions.
• Oversee marketing strategy and product development for the Private Banking portfolio.
• Collaborate with Corporate Banking to identify and execute cross‑selling opportunities, including family‑office style transactions.
• Participate in the UK senior management team, sit on the Executive Committee and other governance bodies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage any licence changes in partnership with the UK Compliance function.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in private banking or wealth management with a focus on High Net‑Worth clients.
• Proven track record of business development and relationship management across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and cross‑selling dynamics.
• Leadership experience at senior executive level, preferably within a regulated banking environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of private banking services and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to design and implement marketing and product strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for high‑value client engagements.
