About the Role

Join VIVO, a key provider of facilities management and housing maintenance for the British Army and its partners. As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery, placing our clients and their families at the heart of everything we do.

Main Missions

  • Coordinate daily operations of field teams and supply chain partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee workforce readiness, ensuring qualified operators have the necessary equipment, skills, and authorizations.
  • Manage safe systems of work, including risk assessments and method statements, while ensuring accurate data logging in the CAFM system.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Defence Infrastructure Organisation representatives, end-users, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial success by managing small chargeable works, producing preliminary quotes, and identifying opportunities for additional business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams to achieve high service levels while promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Balance operational priorities with cost management, risk mitigation, and future maintenance planning to ensure contract sustainability.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance coordination, or a similar operational leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of interacting with military and civilian partners.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in cost control, quoting, and managing small-scale works.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulatory compliance.
