Service Operator I – Cementing

About the role

We are seeking a Service Operator I – Cementing to join our oil‑field service team. Under direct supervision you will rig up and rig down cementing equipment on site, handle cement mixes, and ensure all safety and environmental procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle cementing service equipment, including spotting cement storage vessels and pre‑mixing spacer fluids.
• Perform pre‑job calculations such as pipe capacities, plug landing pressures, hydrostatic pressures and bulk cement blending.
• Complete all required documentation, reports and forms related to the cementing service.
• Train and guide operator assistants on vehicle inspections, equipment operation and paperwork.
• Operate cement pumping systems, blenders, liquid‑additive metering, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition and Automatic Density Control (ADC) systems.
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and promote quality improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience as an Operator Assistant – Cementing II.
• Ability to obtain a commercial equipment driver’s licence if required.
• Completion of I‑Learn courses on General Hydraulics for Downhole Tools and Essential Preventative Maintenance (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and safety awareness.
