Helicopter B1.3 Engineer – Line Maintenance

About the role
The B1.3 Engineer is responsible for line maintenance of NHV Group's helicopter fleet, ensuring aircraft are serviceable and compliant with UK CAA regulations. The role works within an engineering team and may support maintenance at other NHV locations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance tasks in accordance with UK CAA and NHV procedures.
- Plan and execute flexible work rosters to meet business continuity needs.
- Complete maintenance within required timeframes to keep aircraft operational.
- Analyse daily problems, brief and debrief pilots and the Chief Engineer.
- Conduct pre‑flight checks (PRF) and ensure proper handover between shifts.
- Coordinate with NHV Supply Chain to have required spare parts and consumables on site.
- Report daily maintenance status to the Chief Engineer.
Required profile
- UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 licence.
- Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience, preferably as a licensed engineer.
- Ability to work independently in a less‑controlled environment and take initiative.
- Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Professional level English communication.
