Service Technician – Residential Property Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support the Copperwood Apartments community. You will ensure that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in a residential setting.
