Site Agent / Site Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager to lead the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across London. You will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial performance while meeting programme and budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of infrastructure and civil engineering schemes.
• Manage site teams, including sub‑agents, engineers and foremen.
• Produce and maintain construction programmes, short‑term look‑aheads and procurement schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, RAMS, ITPs and CDM regulations.
• Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental performance.
• Support commercial performance, cost control and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting documentation and client communications.
• Chair site meetings, provide project updates and foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations, programme management and cost control.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• CSCS card and SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely certification.
