Site Manager – Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our South Midlands region. You will be based on various sites, leading the construction process from start to finish and ensuring each home meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and record progress using the company’s approved methods.
• Maintain consistently high quality standards in line with regulations.
• Handle customer queries promptly throughout the production cycle.
• Appoint and manage both employed and labour‑only subcontractors.
• Coordinate labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Monitor site personnel output and sign off work for payment.
• Initiate and liaise with building‑regulation inspections.
• Supervise road and sewer construction and organise service connections.
• Conduct pre‑completion inspections with purchasers and record outstanding works.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and site‑specific RAMS.
• Support the sales team with show‑home preparation and maintenance.
• Manage site security and assist the Customer Care Team with maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar construction role.
• Excellent communication skills for dealing with subcontractors, customers and internal teams.
• Strong leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate crews.
• Flexible approach and ability to adapt to a fast‑changing site environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of building regulations and inspection processes.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating labour and materials.
• Understanding of health & safety legislation and RAMS.
