Site Operations Manager

About the role

The Site Operations Manager will lead the overall performance of a food manufacturing site, ensuring production, logistics and support functions operate cohesively to deliver consistent results. The role focuses on stabilising current operations, building capability and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve end‑to‑end operational performance across production and logistics, meeting output and service targets.
• Maintain and enhance product quality standards while ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, fire and health & safety regulations.
• Deliver production output and OTIF performance across all shifts, providing excellent customer outcomes.
• Structure, deploy and manage labour effectively to achieve performance at the right cost.
• Lead by example with high personal accountability and ensure audit readiness.
• Diagnose root causes of performance issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Drive consistent performance across day, night and weekend operations.

Required profile

• More than 10 years senior leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, fire and health & safety standards.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate teams.
• Forward‑thinking and innovative mindset focused on operational efficiency and product quality.

Required skills

• Base salary £90,000 – £105,000 per annum.
