Site Supervisor

About the role

Bachy Soletanche is looking for a Site Supervisor to lead the operational delivery of construction projects across the UK. You will be responsible for the efficient running of site activities, managing resources, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Chargehands and Trainee Supervisors.
• Lead on‑site production, health and safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Generate and maintain strong client relationships.
• Plan and order plant and equipment through the plant yard and procurement.
• Communicate site team roles, responsibilities, and documentation.
• Create site layout plans and sequence daily and strategic work.
• Drive productivity while safeguarding safety and quality.
• Record daily production data in TiPS and store documentation on Woodstock.
• Conduct daily supervisor meetings with subcontractors and the client.

Required profile

• SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
• Proven on‑site leadership and supervisory experience.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and make judgement calls.
• Strong communication skills for briefings, toolbox talks, and client interaction.
• Willingness to work anywhere in the UK as required.
• Commitment to health and safety as the primary focus.
