Join a global leader in chemical distribution as a Specification Specialist at our Middlesbrough site. In this critical role, you will act as a key guardian of product safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all technical documentation and safety data meet the highest industry standards to support safe marketing and product usage.

Missions principales

• Manage and maintain product specification documents within the SAP DMS environment.
• Coordinate the timely issuance of sales specifications for both private label and multi-source products.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and MDM teams to approve new sources and material creation.
• Perform detailed comparative analysis of multi-source material specifications to highlight technical differences.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve complex regulatory compliance issues.
• Conduct regular portfolio and industry reviews of existing specifications to ensure continuous accuracy.
• Support the Quality team during external audits and accreditation processes.
• Maintain and revalidate safety information within the company's IT systems, ensuring strict adherence to legal, health, and environmental requirements.

Profil recherché

• Must be a UK resident with valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Strong educational background, ideally in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organizational proficiency.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while maintaining a strong sense of customer service.
• Comfortable working with complex data and numerical information.

Competences requises

• Proficiency in SAP (experience preferred, though training may be provided).
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and technical documentation.
