Staff Nurse – Acute Mental Health Ward (Band 5)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Registered Mental Health Staff Nurse to join our 18‑bed acute mental health ward. This temporary Band 5 position offers a 32.12‑hour week with a day/night rotation, providing an excellent entry point for newly qualified nurses and a rewarding environment for experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred mental health care to patients on the ward.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to the 12‑hour shift pattern, rotating between day and night shifts.
• Complete all mandatory training and induction requirements.

• Registered Nurse qualified in mental health.
