Staff Nurse – Oncology (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Oncology Unit at The Christie Private Care in Manchester. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality cancer care to private patients in a CQC‑rated "Outstanding" facility.

Key responsibilities

• Support the nursing team in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating specialist oncology care.
• Provide safe, compassionate care that meets patients' medical, physical and emotional needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the wider healthcare team.
• Administer Systemic Anti‑Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell therapies and new anti‑cancer treatments as trained.

Required profile

• NMC registered nurse.
• Experience in NHS or private hospital settings.
• Post‑registration experience in an oncology environment is desirable.

Required skills

• Systemic Anti‑Cancer Treatments (SACT) administration.
• Stem cell administration.
