Staff Software Engineer I

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (AI) to design, build, and evolve production‑grade agentic AI systems. This individual‑contributor leadership position focuses on integrating Large Language Models into secure, reliable, and observable architectures within our global marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement LLM‑powered systems in an AWS environment with emphasis on production readiness, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering, machine‑learning, and data‑science teams to transition AI capabilities from R&D to maintainable, observable, and operationally robust products.
• Shape the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI‑powered services, including building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and governing.
• Influence cross‑functional stakeholders, communicate complex concepts clearly, and drive pragmatic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strategic, hands‑on engineering leader with strong influence and communication skills.
• Proven ability to create alignment across multiple teams and guide AI initiatives at scale.
• Experience delivering secure, reliable, and observable cloud‑native solutions.
