About the role
We are seeking a reliable Stores Person to support a busy manufacturing business in Poole. The role combines warehouse duties with practical, hands‑on tasks across the workshop, ensuring the production team has the right materials at the right time.
Key responsibilities
- Receive deliveries, check goods and put stock and materials away correctly.
- Pick and prepare materials for production and dispatch.
- Maintain organised stores area, stock levels and accurate records.
- Load and unload vehicles, move materials around the site and assist with stock checks.
- Carry out practical tasks using hand and power tools and support the production team when required.
Required profile
- Practical, hands‑on and mechanically minded.
- Organised, methodical and reliable.
- Physically fit for manual work and able to work independently or within a small team.
- Full UK manual driving licence; a forklift licence is advantageous.
Required skills
- Use of hand tools.

- Forklift licence (advantageous).
