Tax Accountant – Financial Services (London)

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join the EMEA finance team of a leading international financial services business in London. The role offers broad in‑house tax responsibilities with exposure to complex international tax matters across multiple entities in a fast‑paced global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK corporation tax compliance, filings and related reporting obligations.
• Support quarterly and annual tax reporting under US GAAP across EMEA entities.
• Oversee international tax matters including transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare tax provisions, reconciliations and journal entries while supporting audits and tax authority queries.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisers on tax planning, regulatory and business initiatives.
• Monitor legislative developments and contribute to process improvements across the tax function.

Required profile

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA or equivalent).
• Experience in corporate tax gained in practice and industry.
• Strong understanding of UK corporation tax and tax accounting principles.
• Exposure to multinational or international tax environments preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP tax reporting advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
