Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (London)

About the role

Nurture Education is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary‑school classrooms across London. You will work alongside class teachers to help pupils achieve their best in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
• Support pupils with diverse needs, including SEND, and promote positive behaviour.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupils' social and emotional development.

Required profile

• Passion for supporting children’s education and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
