About the role
This full‑time teaching assistant position starts in September at an OFSTED ‘Good’ primary school in Wandsworth. You will work within a mainstream classroom, supporting both early years pupils and those with special educational needs (SEN) in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work with children aged 2‑6 in indoor and outdoor settings.
- Support child‑initiated learning activities.
- Assist SEN pupils to access the curriculum.
- Engage with students across three daily sessions.
- Treat every child with respect, kindness, and encouragement.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Genuine interest in working with children, especially those with SEN.
- Previous experience in childcare (formal or informal).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Desirable: an honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent.
