Teaching Assistant – Resource Base (SEMH/ASD)

About the role

We are supporting a large, inclusive primary school in Lambeth that runs a well‑established resource base for pupils with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour. The role starts at the beginning of the next academic year (September 2026) and involves helping children access learning and daily routines in a nurturing, structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated learning activities, adapting specialist approaches to meet each child’s needs.
• Support students with SEMH, ASD and challenging behaviour to achieve their academic potential.
• Promote confidence and self‑esteem by encouraging full participation of all pupils, especially those with SEN, in school life.

Required profile

• Friendly, upbeat and energetic personality.
• Strong academic or work background in Special Educational Needs.
