Teaching Assistant – Special Needs School (Cambridge)

About the role
We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support learners with complex special educational needs at a reputable SEN school in Cambridge. You will work closely with teachers to ensure each student receives personalised attention and a positive learning experience.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons for individual student requirements.
- Assist students during classroom activities, promoting engagement and understanding.
- Provide one‑to‑one support for personal care, social‑emotional needs, and behaviour management.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for working with children who have special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility to adapt to varied student needs.
- Minimum one year of experience in a UK school or care setting.
- Proficiency in English and the legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
