Team Leader - Flaming Grill, Portsmouth

About the role

Flaming Grill, part of Greene King, is hiring a part-time Team Leader at its Coach & Horses pub in Portsmouth. The role is permanent and pays up to £13.00 per hour for around 20 hours per week. The Team Leader leads by example, makes sure the team has what they need so shifts run smoothly, keeps standards high and keeps customers happy.

Key responsibilities

• Depute for the management team and resolve issues that arise in their absence
• Organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts
• Keep the bar safe, legal and clean, and deal with issues quickly and safely
• Make sure every customer receives a warm welcome and a memorable experience

Required profile

• A keen eye for detail, so every pint is poured to perfection
• A role model for the team, showing great service
• The ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenges during a busy shift
• A positive, team-player attitude
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls
