Technical Support Specialist – Control Systems

About the role

Join a fast‑growing team developing the Metron3D platform for next‑generation semiconductor manufacturing. As a Technical Support Specialist you will provide expert troubleshooting for control‑system hardware and software across installed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced diagnostic support for control‑system issues on Metron3D installations.
• Act as the escalation point for Customer Support, Field Service and Applications teams on software‑hardware integration.
• Investigate motion‑control, sensor, feedback‑loop and automation problems in the field.
• Analyse closed‑loop performance, work with high‑precision encoders and motion‑control components.
• Support integration with semiconductor automation equipment such as EFEM interfaces and wafer‑handling robotics.
• Review system logs and control data to identify root causes and produce clear technical reports.
• Collaborate with hardware specialists to improve system stability and prevent recurring issues.

Required profile

• Engineer with strong background in complex microscopy instrumentation and precision motion‑control environments.
• Proven ability to solve multidisciplinary problems in advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to international customers and internal stakeholders.
