Ignition MES System Analyst (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an Ignition MES System Analyst to join a global high‑tech electronics manufacturer. The role bridges manufacturing floor operations with Ignition‑based MES solutions, analysing real‑time production data and ensuring smooth system operation after implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Ignition on‑site and ensure reliable connectivity with machine‑floor equipment.
• Reduce manual data entry by automating collection of yields, temperatures, run times and serial numbers.
• Produce data reports, analytics and visualisations in Ignition and the MES platform for operational teams and business leaders.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and configuration of Ignition/MES systems.
• Create dashboards to monitor production KPIs.
• Manage MES workflows, master data, product specifications and data‑collection structures.
• Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Ignition (MES, MQTT, IIoT or SCADA).
• Background working with MES systems in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, semiconductor, automotive, biotech or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site four days a week, Monday‑Friday, on a 12‑month contract that may be extended.
