Temporary Physics Lecturer – Flexible Teaching Role

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Physics Lecturers for temporary assignments with a range of well‑established Further Education providers in South East England. The role offers flexibility and the chance to inspire learners across multiple programmes and levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Physics lessons.
• Teach learners of varying abilities and track their progress.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate teaching records in line with college requirements.
• Support practical laboratory activities while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Physics in Further Education, secondary schools or adult learning settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
