Trade Surveillance Project Manager (12-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic regulatory change programme within a leading international banking environment. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of an enhanced Trade Surveillance capability, ensuring the project is delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex regulatory and business change initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including business stakeholders, technology teams and third‑party suppliers.
• Produce and complete project artefacts such as business cases, requirements, testing and implementation plans.
• Facilitate governance forums, steering committees and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor progress, escalate risks or issues and ensure transition of deliverables into business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience in financial services, banking or capital markets.
• Delivery of regulatory, compliance, risk or business transformation programmes.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across multiple business functions.
• Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile.
