About the role

INRIX is looking for a Traffic Information Editor to join its Global Data Centre in Quinton, Birmingham. You will deliver real‑time incident, restriction and congestion data that powers traffic updates for broadcasters, automotive manufacturers and logistics providers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify traffic incidents using live sources such as cameras, highway authorities, local councils, social media and public reports.
• Curate and publish high‑quality traffic updates through INRIX’s custom incident‑mapping platform.
• Interpret real‑world traffic signals and assess the impact of incidents and restrictions in real time.
• Prioritise incidents quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced, multi‑screen environment.
• Support products and services that improve mobility for millions of road users globally.

Required profile

• Client‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure.
• Confidence interpreting data from multiple web‑based sources.
• Strong prioritisation skills and capacity to manage a high‑volume workload.
• Good judgement, initiative and problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Experience with online mapping tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
