Traffic Information Editor (Part‑Time)

About the role

INRIX is looking for part‑time Traffic Information Editors to join its Global Data Centre in Quinton, Birmingham. You will help create the real‑time traffic updates that power radio, sat‑nav and in‑car systems for broadcasters, automotive and logistics customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify traffic incidents from cameras, highway authorities, councils, social media and public reports.
• Curate and publish high‑quality traffic updates using INRIX’s custom incident‑mapping platform.
• Interpret traffic signals and assess the impact of incidents and restrictions in real time.
• Prioritise incidents quickly in a fast‑paced, multi‑screen environment.
• Support products and services that improve mobility for millions of road users.

Required profile

• Client‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure.
• Good judgement, initiative and problem‑solving ability.
• Strong prioritisation skills and capacity to manage a high‑volume workload.
• Experience researching, sourcing and verifying planned incidents.
