About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist education recruitment agency in Manchester. You will receive comprehensive training and support while working with universities and training providers across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and headhunting top‑tier candidates for teaching, programme delivery and leadership roles.
• Building and maintaining strong candidate relationships.
• Supporting senior consultants on active mandates.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their hiring needs.
• Developing market knowledge in high‑growth education sectors.
• Learning to build and grow your own specialist market.

Required profile

• Experience in a commercial setting, telephone‑based experience desirable.
• Degree‑educated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious, self‑driven mindset.
• Exceptional organisational and time‑management abilities.
